Obituary of Melissa M. McMurren

Please share a memory of Melissa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Melissa’s last beautiful smile on earth was on October 26, 2017. But we are certain she is now laughing and smiling with the angels in heaven, with the same flair, spirit and joy she demonstrated her entire life.

Melissa Marie McMurren was born August 17,1965 to Margaret Bullock-McMurren and the late Allen Ray McMurren. Melissa was the oldest of three children. During her youth she attended St. John's United Methodist Church and was an active member in MYF and Jesus Little People choir. Melissa had a strong foundation in the lord and loved the church’s youth ministries.

Melissa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and love traveling to Arizona and California to visit her sons and mother. Melissa enjoyed spending time at the beach with her friends and cousins which was always a special time for her. Melissa had a circle of special friends affectionately known as the Golden Girls, her cousin Michelle and her best buddies Marie, Tonja and Rosemarie.

Melissa was employed by the ARC of Camden County until her illness no longer allowed her to do the job that she loved so much.
