Obituary of David S. Williford

After a difficult and heartbreaking battle with cancer, David S. Williford (Ginger Blue) of Atco, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Dave was born on January 21, 1966 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, raised in Westmont, NJ and was a graduate of Haddon Township High School’s Class of 1985. Dave went into the Navy immediately after he graduated High School and served his country until 1987. Dave has been together with the love of his life, Josephine Palermo for 17 years. They were happily married and have a beautiful daughter Rosalia Palermo-Williford. Dave was predeceased by his mother Terry Anne Knauf and is survived by his father William Williford and Dave’s two other children, son Jaron, daughter Azuree, grandson Caleb as well as his brother Adam Williford and his nieces Brittany and Victoria. Music was Dave’s passion and he loved the Grateful Dead and the family he found within that community. He was well known and respected for his holistic healing as well as his Ginger Beads and art work Patternz. A memorial service will be held at Atco United Methodist Church on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM. A repast will be held immediately after at the Church Fellowship hall which is behind the Sanctuary in the same building. Due to overcrowding with the Preschool parking, the Pastor is asking that everyone attending the funeral to please park at the Rotary Lot in the municipal building parking lot next to the church lot.
