I worked with Dot at Shore Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit from 1981 till 1989. Needless to say we became great friends over the years. What a great woman. Dot was one of the most quality people I’ve ever met. She was a fantastic nurse - she was so kind and sweet to all the patients and the patients loved her. It was obvious she loved her family deeply. She would speak to me so fondly and lovingly about them. In 1985 I was married and Dot and a handful of my other good friends from the Dialysis unit came to the weeding and the reception at Smithville Inn. I just looked back at the picture album from our wedding and I looked at the table of people from Shore Memorial. There was Dot in the middle of the group with that beaming smile on her face. A beautiful woman. She will be missed on this earth but now she is in the loving arms of our Lord. God Bless you, her family, as you grieve this loss. Heaven has received an Angel.
