On the morning of June 22, 2020 a merciful and loving God took Renee’ Bennett-Floyd in His arms and took her to Heaven. Renee’ was born on October 13, 1964 in Zurbrugg hospital in Riverside, NJ to her parents Edward and Etta Bennett of Cinnaminson, NJ. When Renee’ was in 5th grade in Cinnaminson school, she took drum lessons. She was a drummer in the school band and continues until she graduated high school. She also took piano lessons. Her piano sits in her mothers dining room now. Renee’ loved to roller-skate. At an early age she took skating lessons with her brother Eddie at Holiday Skating Center. Where in later years she met three of her life time friends Robin, Mary, and Laurie. Renee’ also loved to knit, play the piano and bowl. Renee’ also loved sports. As a teenager, she and the Pear Street crew played Basketball in her backyard. Her brother Eddie always said Renee’ thought that she was Darryl Dawkins “Chocolate Thunder”.
