Remember (Adaptation; Author Unknown)
Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow,
but remember Uncle Crackshot in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile
for he's only gone to rest for a little while.
Although his leaving has caused both pain and grief,
the transition has eased his hurt and provided great relief.
So we while our tears fall we will remember thee,
not as he is now, but as he used to be.
Because he is in heaven looking down upon us with a smile,
we find comfort in knowing that he's only gone to rest for a little while.
We will love you forever!
