Phillip Worthy was a blessing from the day he was born. This guy could clean, cook, sing, shop, style, teach and type his butt off. Although Phillip was not big in stature, he had a heart as big as a giant. This is obvious by the number of friends he had. He knew E-V-E-R-Y-ONE! He had friends from the Western and Eastern parts of the United States & Europe.
His number one love was his family but his favorite person was his mother, Theresa. Phillip admired, loved and adored his mama. It seems unreal that we will never get to hear his voice again, because Phillip could tell a story. He would do it without blinking an eye. Whether he was serious or not. The animation alone would have you laughing and crying. He’s probably in Heaven telling jokes and stories to Dana and the rest of the family. Aren’t they lucky? Phil, we will miss your candor, friendship, humor, meals, dinner at Georgine’s, trip to Wildwood, but mostly, Your LOVE. Our lives will never be the same without you. Our hearts have a void that will never be replaced. You were and are OUR GUY!!!
Phillip was preceded in death by his brother Dana.
Phillip leaves to cherish his memories, Mother and Father Donald Worthy, Sr and Theresa Hoover Worthy, siblings: Celeste (Roosevelt), Donean, Donald Jr., Marc and Alonzo, 1 sister-in-law Deniece Worthy and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Special “Mom” Kathryn Spinogatti and Special Childhood Friends.
