Obituary of Robert Edward White

Robert Edward White, “Shorty”, was born February 13th, 1947 in Atlantic City, New Jersey to the late Clarence Langford and Hermean White.

He departed this life on April 28th, 2018 at Vitas Hospice Care in Stratford, New Jersey.

He was an Atlantic county resident his entire life. He served honorably in the United States Army, and retired from the United States Postal service in Belmar New Jersey.

He was a caring father and developed many friendships throughout the community and through his great love for playing the lottery. He had a fondness for nice cars and beautiful homes.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: one daughter, Denise Lewis, Atlanta, Georgia;  his brother, Lawrence Huffin,  Atlantic City, New Jersey;  aunt, Joycelyn Harris, Absecon, New Jersey; four cousins, Christine Hawkes-Washington, William Hawkes and DelRita Hawkes, all of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey,  and Lorenzo Langford,  Atlantic City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including his good friend, Richard Loper.
