Obituary of Thelbert Marcel Bradley
Thelbert Marcel Bradley was born on February 29, 1948 to Thelma A. (nee McCall) and Ernest J. Bradley in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The sixth of eight children, he departed this earthly life and went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2019 at 71 years old.
Thelbert was educated in the Atlantic City Public School system and graduated from Hampton University in 1970 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He maintained an active affiliation with his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, speaking proudly of their brotherhood. Thelbert later became a chartering member of Omega Psi Phi in the Winslow Township, New Jersey area.
Upon graduation from Hampton University, Thelbert relocated to Pleasantville, New Jersey where he began his early career working in Atlantic City at the Claridge Hotel and Casino. In 1990, he established his own accounting services business under the name Accurate Accounting Services in Williamstown, New Jersey servicing the community and its surrounding areas.
As an active member of Cecil Deliverance Tabernacle of Cecil, New Jersey, Thelbert served as an administrator and was always willing to offer a hand to those in need. He was a well-known and well-loved member of the community; and is mostly known for his meticulous ways and vibrant personality. Thelbert gave his life to the Lord at the age of 30 and anyone that knew him knew that he loved God and gave testimony of his blessings daily to those around him. He was a God-fearing man of honor with a hearty laugh, a sincere heart and living testimony.
Thelbert is predeceased by his father, Ernest J. Bradley; his mother and stepfather, Thelma A. Bennett and Eugene Bennett; siblings Gerald Bradley, Ernest “Jimmy” Bradley and Darryl Bradley.
Thelbert’s memories with be cherished by his two daughters, Tsa-Hye Bradley of Williamstown, New Jersey and Tara Bullock (Robert) of Baltimore, Maryland; five grandchildren, Terrell, Zya, Jaylen, Xavier and Jordyn; sisters, Lenora Robertson and Crystal Perry; brothers, Michael Bennett (Gina) and Festus Braithwaite (Pat); a sister-in-law, Theda Bradley; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
