Obituary of Darrell Smith

Darrell Smith was born to the late Cynthia Smith and Angelo Waiters on September 1, 1968. Darrell is also predeceased by 3 siblings Jeffery & Lamont Smith and Elaine Vaughn-Tutt. Early fond memories of Darrell includes many snowball fights as he liked to play in the snow. He was enrolled and educated within the New Jersey School system. He later worked in food preparation and had been recently been promoted to a cook to further his culinary skills.

Darrell explored and had become acquainted with many religions. He had later chosen to be addressed by the name of "Malik." His favorite pastimes include watching his favorite shows on TV and listening to music. He is mostly remembered for his love for Michael Jackson. Darrell would love to gather an audience by singing his favorite entertainers hit records while performing great demonstrations of his dance moves.

Darrell's biggest dream was to open up a car wash business of his own one day. Darrell was a very free-hearted person. At times when he had little to give he would truly give his last.

He expressed much enthusiasm for all of his family members and he would include them in his daily thoughts and prayers.

He is survived by his sibling sisters: Melvinus Smith, Carol Woodard, Joyce Clark, Elizabeth McNair, Gloria Williams, and Lavern Vaughn. Darrell is also a very proud uncle as he leaves behind many nieces and nephews, 2 of which he communicated regularly with-Khabirah Vaughn and Malik Gray. Darrell will be missed and recaptured in thought for his generous heart and infectious smile.
