Obituary
Obituary of Kimberly M. Jones
Please share a memory of Kimberly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We come together to celebrate the home going of Kimberly Monique Jones. She was a loving and charismatic daughter, sister, friend, niece and aunt. Kim was born to Dilcie Williams and John Milton Jones, on March 26, 1963.
Kim graduated from Williamstown High School and then went straight into workforce. Later in life, she returned to school and proudly earned her Associates Degree from Camden County Community Collage. Kim had an extensive career with Verizon and was employed with them for thirty six years. She recently retired from her Verizon family in September 2021.
As she grew older, Kim accepted Jesus as her Lord and savior and developed a close relationship with God. She knew where and who to lean on to seek spiritual Guidance. She was especially fond of Pastor Raymond Lewis and enjoyed her phone calls with him.
Kim loved her family and was proud of everyone's accomplishments. Friends and co-workers knew the names of Kim's siblings, nieces and nephews because she spoke so highly of them, so often.
As fun-loving and jovial as Kim was, she had a serious side and was an anchor to many. She even wrote out some final thoughts when her father passed away. Her words for his death are just as fitting now. ''We are not here to mourn, but to celebrate. Celebrate perfect peace and being pain free. Let us rejoice in that we will see each other again. One thing Dad always told me is family should stick together because that is all you have. As a family, let's honor the life, legacy and the (wo)man".
Kim went home to be with the lord, surrounded by love, at her brothers Keith and wife Veronica's home in Blackwood, New Jersey, in the morning of Saturday, September 18, 2021.
She is survived by her mother Delcie Williams, sisters Gladys Jones, Serena Franks (Brian), and brother Kurt, Keith (Veronica) and Clifford Jones (Kim). She was Proceeded in death by Father John Jones (Brenda) and niece Myshia Barnes (Insunn). She leaves behind numerous Family and loved once including nephews and nieces: Joshua Jackson, Shakirah, Leon, Jordan, Jocelynne, Ava and Evan Jones and Nyla, Analia and Elijah Franks as well as great nephews and nieces: Iycis Stewart, Jahni Brown, Solei Barnes, Kianna, Kayla and Isaiah Jackson and Royal and Ryleigh Brown.
