Linda Bair

Obituary of Linda Melanie Bair

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda M. Bair had an angel lift her spirit up on October 12, 2021 to be with the LORD. Linda was born on November 30, 1963, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She grew up in the Venice Park section of Atlantic City, and graduated from Atlantic City High School. She was predeceased by her parents, Clinton Bair, Effie Bair and Patricia Purcell; her brothers, Darwin Berry and Barry Brown; and her sister, Judy Bair. Because of her hard exterior, Linda was many times misunderstood, but to know her was to love her. Although Linda worked in the restaurant industry, her passion was rooted in home assisted living. She cared for the elderly and would go that extra mile to do what was needed for them. The children of her patients knew they could depend on her being there. Linda’s affiliation with the John Brooks Recovery Center was a tremendous source in her success of regaining a normal state of health, mind and strength for many years. She is an example of courage and dedication. Her friendships with the faculty members gave her that extra push to stay strong in her walk. Linda leaves behind to treasure the memories of her life, her daughter, Charletta Bair of Gwynn Oak, Maryland; her brothers, Gary Bair (Kornelia) of Memphis, Tennessee, Shawn Bair Muhammad of Atlantic City, and Lamont Berry (Regina) of Galloway, New Jersey; her sister, Dianna Berry of Pleasantville, New Jersey; two grandsons, Nae’Chaun and Kae’Chaun Johnson, both of Pleasantville; 9 nephews, 7 nieces and a host of family and friends.
