Charles William Freeman, Jr, (Better known as Bill) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles and Virginia Freeman. He was the oldest of 7 children. Born on June 24, 1946, He entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2021. Bill received his education through the Berlin, New Jersey and Camden, New Jersey School Systems. He was in the Army reserves for 20 years. He worked at Campbell Soup company in Camden New Jersey, Sherwin William Paint Factory in Gibbsboro, New Jersey, Ancora State hospital in Hammonton, New Jersey and as a bus driver for the school system in Tuscon, Arizona in 1986 where he met his wife Marcia and was married for 27 years. He became a Truck driver and traveled throughout the nation. He visited Alaska once and fell in love with it, his goal was one day that he would live there. Bill was proud of his first car, it was shiny red 1967 GTO, you would have thought he had just won the lottery. Bill had many passions besides traveling, he continued going to school at Pima college in Tuscon because of his love for math. He took aikido lessons for many years, he was a Barber, he loved the piano and began taking piano lessons in the hope that one day he would play for the church. Besides being grounded in the love for Christ as a child, Bill joined the Siloam Christian Church in Tuscon where he became a Deacon. He developed a great relationship with his Pastor, Otis F. Brown Jr. The 3rd Friday of each month he was involved with feeding the hungry. He had a knack for talking to strangers, you would have thought he had known them all his life. Bill leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Marcia, two sons Charles William Freeman III and Andre Freeman; one daughter Trudy Burch; 6 grandchildren, three sisters, Diani Bey, Brenda Akers, and Barbara Pinkston; three brothers, Gary Freeman, Jospeh Leroy Freeman and Alfred Freeman, and one Aunt, Vivan Mcallister and one Uncle, Arlington Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
