Obituary of Kenneth Maurice Forrest

Kenneth M. "C Junior" Forrest unexpectedly transitioned from labor to reward on January 9, 2022 at his home. Kenny C Junior, as he was affectionately known, was born on October 2, 1960, in Atlantic City, New Jersey to Margaret Forrest and the late Maurice Forrest.
A lifelong native of Atlantic City before he moved to Wilmington, Delaware in 1999, Kenny attended the Atlantic City public schools. He entered the workforce. He worked at various jobs; Art Williams, AC Home Furnishings, Albert's Organics, Redbird Eggs, driver for Walmart Private Fleet, Burrus Trucking Company, Westin Hotel and the Lorelton Nursing Facility as a maintenance worker.
Kenny was a very generous and giving person. He would do for any and everybody who needed help in Atlantic City and Wilmington. He loved coming to Atlantic City for the Annual Uptown Reunion. He loved his family and friends. He had a special love for the Maradas. He was an avid sports fan, a loving and dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved Rap and R & B music. Lastly, he always enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Kenny was predeceased by his father, Maurice Forrest; his sister, Phyllis (Doll) Willoughby; his brother-in-law, Richard Elam; and his nephews, Lonnell M. Blagrove and Zai'yon Dickerson.
Kenny leaves to treasure his loving memories his mother, Margaret L. Forrest; two brothers, Derwin G. (Rock) Forrest (Wilma), and Sean S. Forrest, both of Wilmington,Delaware; four sisters, Sherry Milano (Alan) of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Louise Y. Elam and Yolanda G. Dickerson, both of Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Lisa K. Forrest of Wilmington, Delaware; beloved son, Wayne Jamison (Sonya) of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey; six grandchildren; special friends The Maradas; Monique Kyle and Linda Mack; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Our beloved son and brother will be missed. Rest on Kenny. God only takes the best.
