The sunrose for Kevin Ian Gray on Jan. 5, 1971, youngest child of the late Isiah DeBose, Geraldine Gasque-Gray and pops Sinclair Gray.
Kevin was born and raised in Newark, NJ and attended the Newark Essex County School System. He held various jobs while living there, including Carpentry. Kevin's Hobbies were DJing and watching baseball games. Kevin gave his life to the Lord under the leadership of Apostle Robert Davis at Jesus Deliverance Tabernacle Ministries located at 791– 797 South Orange Avenue Newark New Jersey.
After meeting his wife Charlene Renee Grate-Gray, he relocated to South Jersey. He made a career choice to obtain his CDL'S and drove trucks for Waste Management in Vineland, and also Gold Medal Environmental Services in Sewell, N.J. Kevin was ordained a Deacon and eventually a Minister in the year of 2019 under the leadership of Apostle and Pastor Charles and Betty Hawkins at Voice of Deliverance New Covenant Church located in Vineland New Jersey. Minister Kevin Gray enjoyed fellowship with the Men's Ministry, however, a big part of his ministry was ministering and mentoring various young men while at work. In addition to that, he was the life of the party at various events, impersonating his character “Romey Rome”. He kept a smile on so many faces. He loved his family as well as his church family and friends. He was a loving brother to his siblings Sinclair Jr, Melanie, and Michelle Gray, Mary Ellen and the late Daniel Debose, and Rosalie Day.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Charlene Renee Grate-Gray, and children Kimora Gray, La'Jeada Gray, Al-Tariq Bryant and Dyshire Gray.
