My sincerest condolences to the entire Covington family. I adored Ms. Bert and I recall frequenting her candy shop in West Atco back in the 80s. No matter how busy the store would be, Ms. Bert would ALWAYS make time to encourage me and impart wisdom that has influenced who I am today. I have no doubt that Ms. Bert's candy shop ministry did the same for so many other brown and black youth. May she rest in heavenly peace.
