James was born and raised in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Attended Mecklenburg and Brunswick county public schiools. James moved to Philadelphia, PA at the age of 14 and attended and received a certificate in Law Enforcement & Safety Training. Thereafter James lived in Camden NJ and worked for Gloucester Terminal and moved to Pine Hill NJ and worked for WasteQuip in Erial NJ. James predeceased in death by brother, Alvin T. Harris, Sisters: Thelma S. Green-Page, Charlene M. Greene and Marilyn Greene, Father in Law, Russell G. Boyce and Mother in Law, Lucille A. McIntosh. James "Redd" leaves to cherish his memory of his wife, Lisa McIntosh-Harris, whom he called "His Beautiful Wife & his "Boo" Three beloved children: Travis Hendrick, Tawonna Harris and James (Jamie) Harris and four beloved grandchildren: Tanyah Horsey, Tanajah Webb, Taneah Harris and Grandson, Sergio Harris. Father, Thomas James Harris, Mother, Elsie Cordell Greene. One brother, Dwayne M Harris (Patricia), Three sisters: Annie L. Easter (James). Cara M. Stone, Marion L. Harris. Two sister n laws: Vanessa Toomer and Robin Toomer, One brother in Law, Robert W. Toomer (Crystal) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. We will miss your laughter, loving smile and tender heart.
