To Gordy's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
To Gordy,
I want to thank you for being there for me at a time in my life I needed some extra guidance. I was 16 years old when I met you working together on the turnpike in 1982. At 17 I got in some teenage trouble and ended up quitting school. With a push and some guidance from you I went and got my GED. I had not seen you in many many years but you were always on my mind. I know you would be proud of me to know that I have been working at the school I quit for 33 years and plan on retiring in a few more. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Uncle Gardy you will be truly missed all of our conversations I will treasure and remember. Thank you for being there for me since my moms pregnancy, every softball game, every bowling match, every homework assignment
and our 2 favorite movies that we watched year after year Imitation of Life and Green Pastures! And for being there for David and your Boo (Niq) after Dave passed. I know that you are in heaven because back in Oct. 2021 you repented and rededicated your life to Christ and asked him to be your Savior. I am sorry that your final wishes will never be done but your spirit is in heaven and it is only a shell left right now here on earth. You have joined the ranks with Helen and Marge! I love you with my whole ❤️! Nina and I were there with you holding your hand and rubbing your head and praying when you took your last breath. You are now Free, no more pain just Glory! Ecclesiastes 6:3 If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.KJV
Luv ❤️ u uncle Gardy, Unc and Poppy
