Dear Merrill-Jean and Tatia:
Whereas, in loving memory of Joseph B. Bailey, who graced this world as a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and devoted servant of God, we humbly bow in submission to God’s will in that one of His children is now at peace and rest with God. His soul has gone to God; the earth has claimed its own;
Whereas, Joseph was the son of Rev. Dr. Joseph Benjamin and Willie Mae (Sloan) Bailey, Sr., brother to Peggy B. Lewis, Jacqueline B. Rainey (deceased) and Hildegarde B. Rose (deceased), husband to Merrill-Jean Terry Bailey, and father to daughter, Tatia;
Whereas, God has seen fit to take an extremely devoted loving and family man from among us to join the ancestors;
Be it resolved on the 18th day of November 2022, the former neighbors and friends of the Willingboro community who recognized Joe as a fun-loving, caring, supportive and engaging member of our extended family community, bow in humble submission to God who does all things well; and
Be it further resolved that we stand ready and willing to offer support and words of comfort to all the Bailey family members who most intimately feel the pain and grief from the loss of a loving family member. May Joe rest peacefully in the arms of his ancestors.
In the Spirit and Joy of Extended Family Togetherness and Unity, your former neighbors and friends of the Willingboro Community
Dr. Pat Reid-Merritt
