Raynard M. A. Hardy, aka “P-Nut” was born to Sarah J. Hardy-Miller and Gerald R. Hardy, Jr. on August 3, 1965, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was a proud, life-long resident who attended the public school system and graduated from the old high school with the class “84”. Shortly after graduating, Raynard continued his education at Stockton University where he completed a few semesters. He was an active member of Union Local 54 for over 30 years. He worked in various positions in the Atlantic City casino industry, as well as 17 years for the Atlantic City Board of Education where he was known as Mr. P-Nut to all the children whom he lovingly served breakfast, lunch and dinner. P-Nut was very proud and vocal to let the city and world know that he was also a member of another family, “The Black and Yellow family”, P-Nut was a Pitney 4 Life since 1968. P-Nut loved and respected his friends and newfound family from his 12-step fellowship which he would come to know over the last 7 years. Raynard wore many hats, but his top hat was the one that said father. He adored his children and 12 grandchildren. Providing for them, he was their dad and the maestro to their orchestra. He was the rock for them. Raynard is survived by his 4 children and 12 grandchildren, Tahara A. (Anthony W.), Raynard A. M. (Kaia), Allante’ D. (Kenyatta L.) and Armani S.; his brothers Carlos R. (Brandie) and Andre’ P.; his sister Monique (Ruben). He was predeceased by his mother, father, sister Danielle Nicole and his grandson. P-Nut was most appreciative of all the love and respect shown to him by his nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
