Obituary of Lula Annette Hyman

Please share a memory of Lula to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lula Annette "Ann" Hyman, nee Johnson, was born February 14, 1945, in a little house on Union Landing Road, East Riverton, NJ. The family later moved to 600 Arch Street in Palmyra, NJ. Ann was the proud daughter of Harry Wilbur Johnson and Lula Mae "Hicks" Johnson. She was one of five Johnson sisters, Bertha Mae King (deceased), Harriet Nickens, Thelma "Fran" Scott (Theodore "Ted" Scott), and Faye Johnson (deceased). She is survived by her children, James R. Hyman Jr. (Patricia), Mark F. Hyman Sr. (Letha), Craig Hyman and Leslie Annette Hyman-Deitz (Chris). She was mom-mom to Mark Jr., Dominic, Cameron, Veronica, Joshua, Brandon, Christian and Isabella Annette. Also, Ann was great grand-mom to Brayden, Oliver, and Izaiha. She will always be remembered as "Aunt Ann" or "Ann" to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. Ann was educated in the Palmyra school system. She was Palmyra Proud and could be heard cheering for her football team by all of our surrounding neighborhoods. She enjoyed going to the Casino and being around her family and friends. She had a lovely smile and an infectious laugh! Ann had the uncanny ability to make anyone near her laugh. Ann worked for RCA at the little Victor building in Camden and later moved to Federal Street to work for L3 Communications where she retired after 30+ years of service. Ann has had a long health battle since she survived the fight of her life eight years ago. She was not ready to go at that time and chose to stay and live life with her family and friends a little while longer. Unfortunately, this time she was tired of the battle and wanted to join her daddy, mom and sisters. So the Lord called Ann home to be one of his Angels in heaven on December 24, 2022. Tell our family members that we said, "Hi" and please ask them to take care of you until we see each other again. Love, Your children forever and always.
