Obituary of Noreen Q. Bracy

Noreen Q. Bracy was born to the late Joseph Franklin and Violet Quinton on February 5, 1941 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. She departed this life on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
In her early years, Noreen was educated in the Cinnaminson Public School System. She attended the all-black Cinnaminson School Number 4 until it was integrated and became Cinnaminson School Number 2. The family moved to Palmyra in 1952, where she continued her education and she graduated from Palmyra High School in 1959.
Noreen was baptized at an early age at Evergreen Baptist Church.
Noreen worked for the Burlington County Mosquito Commission for 39 years when she retired in 1998.
Noreen entered into Holy Matrimony with the late Charles Bracy in 1967.
She was a fun-loving mom and grandmother and had a big heart. She loved listening to her “oldies” and Friday game nights and dinner. Noreen loved to travel. She loved being with her sisters and family. She was known as the “Little General” to those who loved her. She was known at all family occasions for her potato salad, brownies and broccoli and cheese. She was the Secretary of the 730 Walking Club. She loved to line-dance and shop at Sears Surplus, Boscov’s and JC Penney’s. Noreen enjoyed life.
Noreen is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Violet, and her brothers: John, Byard and Frederick.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted son, Wesley Quinton (Carolyn-deceased) and granddaughter, Christiana Quinton. Her sisters: Violet Shirley (Clarence-deceased) Brown; Josephine (Payton-deceased) Grimes and Fern Johns. Her best-friend, Hannah Lindsay. A special daughter, Torye Lynn Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
