Obituary of Robin Denise Pearson
Please share a memory of Robin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Surrounded and supported by close family and treasured loved ones, Robin Denise Pearson, aged 55, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital. Born the second daughter to Odessa Jordan and the late Stanley Wayne Pearson, Robin came into the world on October 29, 1967 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Growing up, she was educated in the Camden City School System in Camden, New Jersey and attended Camden County Vocational High School in Sicklerville, New Jersey, graduating the latter in 1986.
Family, friends, and faith were vital parts of her life. She had an impressive talent for sowing, hairstyling, and enjoyed listening to and practicing music, having served as a choir member of her childhood church, St. Paul Baptist Church in Camden, New Jersey, where she was baptized at the age of nine years old.
She had a deep fondness and affection for her family. Years after graduation, she took on the role of a lifetime as doting mother to daughter, Kenya Pearson-Jackson on May 1, 1994.
Robin was a woman of great faith, care, and love. Despite issues with her health, she was quick to help anyone young and old, always thinking of others first. She loved praying for and with others, volunteering in local church ministries, cooking her famous recipes, and laughing and spending time with loved ones at family reunions and celebrations.
She was a resilient warrior whose love knew no bounds.
She will be greeted with open arms in heaven by her grandparents including maternal grandmother, Dorothy Frayer, grandmother and grandfather, Mattie and Jesse Pearson, her father, Stanley Wayne Pearson, her brother Ralph “Ralphy” Jordan, her sister, Daisheena Pearson, her infant daughter, Kayla Pearson, and several close aunts, cousins and family members.
She leaves to cherish her memory her endearing mother, Odessa Jordan, her wonderful daughter, Kenya Pearson-Jackson and son-in-law Jabree Jackson, devoted sister Tracey Pearson-Smith and brother-in-law Richard Smith, caring sisters Jamie Sweet, Adeenah Johnson, Sherese Walden, Robbie Black, Samone Pearson, Shaleia Slocum, Debbie Jordan, faithful brothers Glenn Pearson, Troy Pearson, Likell Pearson, Glenny Jordan, Jamar Pearson, dear sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Pearson, Margaret Pearson and Robert Walden, adoring nieces and nephews Jessica Smith, Troy Pearson, Jr., Alliyya Haynes, Johnny Pearson, Joshua Smith, Caleb Smith, Troyana Pearson, Ryan Black, Kelsey Black, Amora McClennan, Demetrius Pearson, Adrianna Walden, Robert Walden III, Tyesha Berry, Tiyauda Berry, and a host of other close cousins, family, and friends.
