Obituary of Kevin Waiters

DEACON KEVIN WAITERS SR.

Deacon Kevin Waiters Sr. (A.K.A.“Dollar Bill”) was born on August 21st, 1964 at the Margaret Hague Hospital in Jersey City, to the proud parents Leroy and Evelyn Waiters.

Kevin attended Jersey city elementary school and went to and graduated from Ferris High School. Later after graduation Kevin attended and Graduated from Glassboro State College (GSC). While in GSC Kevin played football, he was #15. During his playing time Kevin received several trophies for his accomplishments. Kevin met and married Stephanie and from that union they had 3 beautiful children. Two of the three were twins. Kevin loved his children and always talked about them. Kevin worked at the Harris Casino and Greenbrier Nursing Home. Kevin loved working and helping people.

On January 8th, 2019 Kevin became a member of Fountain of Living Water under the leadership of Pastor Elder Emma L. Smalley and on February 26, 2023 Kevin was ordained as a Deacon. Kevin LOVED his NYGiants and he loved to walk around in his community "Hammonton" just about everyone in the community knew Kevin.

Deacon Kevin Waiters Sr, closed his eyes and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Waiters and his sister Cheryl Waiters. Maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Victoria Willams. Paternal grandparents, Isaiah and Beaulah Waiters.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Stephaine Waiters, his son Kevin Waiters Jr., two daughters Jasmine and Stephaine Waiters. His mother Evelyn Waiters, five sisters, Leronna Smart, Cynthia Waiters, Gaila Waiters, Brenda Williams (Roger) and Tayma Williams. Four brothers, Al-Amin Muhammad (Khadijah), Eugene Williams ,Dwayne Waiters and Keith Waiters (Isabel) Kevin Hakeem Waiters (“Name Sake"), and a host of other nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and his church family.
