My grandmother Katie Moore was a very sincere and God-fearing woman that I've been so proud of throughout the years. She was like a second mother to me dearly. Her wisdom and caring over the years reminds me of one of my favorite bible scriptures from Job 23:10, But He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
Her strong conviction in our Lord Christ has given me guidance over the years and no matter the resistances that life's endavors have given me, my grandmother's caring wisdom has always taken me back to that bible scripture and took fruition in my life. She will be sorely missed and may her spirit soar as the eagles soar in the heavenlies.
God Bless Grandma Kate, you will always be in my heart and mind for the remainder of my years where your wisdom and caring will never grow old or age inside of me. That's a part of my youth that remains foreever young and untouched. I love you always!

Aunt Kate is my Grandfather Henry Greene's sister. When I was little I remember Aunt Kate, and two of her sisters, Aunt Cora and Aunt Effie would all come over to visit my Granparents. Aunt Kate was always dressed like a model. At least that was my thoughts as a small child. Her outfits were always well put together. Matching shoes to the outfit. Hat, gloves and purse. When I would give her a hug and a kiss, I could smell her perfume. Her outfits and the Red car had me thinking she had to be a model or a movie star. R.I.P Aunt Kate and could you give my Papa Greene a hug and a kiss from me.

Kind, warm and compassionate all of these words applied to
Katie. Her smile, her laughs were, infectious. No matter what troubles she might have, she always greeted you with a smile and a hug. After she greeted you, she wanted you to have a seat at her table and have something to eat “she said that was the south in her,” but in reality that was the goodness in her.
She will be remembered as faithful spouse, loving mother, great sibling and a standup cousin.

Aunt Kate will be remembered in our hearts and thoughts for the remainder of our lives; as she was a part of our lives growng-up in Brooklyn, NY. Aunt Kate was the sister of our dad, Grady Greene. We will miss her laughter, her vey keen since of humor and her style!
Aunt Kate was defnitely a women ahead of her time. She was a "free spirit" and not afraid to show it. She made you feel welcomed all the time. Aunt Kate was a gracious and down-to-earth person all in one.
Sorrowfully, your nieces, Joyce, Connie, Barbara & Joann.

In memory of my sister Katie,I am deeply sorry that my sister has left us, but she gave us so much joy while she was with us. I thank God for allowing her to live as long as she did, and allowing us so many years full of countless memories. She had a heart full of gold, but she's in a better place now, with no more sickness and no more death. I have many many fond memories of her, we played together as we were children. We cried together. And prayed together. We were not only sisters, but we were the best of friends. We went shopping together, and we'd share meals with each other after cooking. I remember we would take boat rides together while in New York. I will miss her so much, but I'll be there to join her sometime soon. I initially planned on attending the home going service of my dear sister, but due to a serious illness my doctor advised me not to travel. But The memories of my sister Katie will always be deep within my heart.Love your sister Effie
