Regina Marie Andruzzi Laughlin was born to the late Rocco and Rita Andruzzi on July 14, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of three children. She was educated in the Dioceses of Camden. Regina remained a devout Catholic. Regina married Franklin F. Laughlin in 1983 and from that union six children were born. They raised their family in Camden, NJ and eventually moved to Berlin, NJ 1992. Regina went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education specializing in Early childhood studies from Glassboro State College. She was first employed by BPUM as Lead Teacher for many years and then was eventually hired by CCCOEO Head Start where she continued to teach the children of Camden aged 3-5 until her health began to fail. Regina was best known for her famous Italian spaghetti and feeding the entire neighborhood. If anyone had the opportunity to taste her spaghetti... it was unforgettable. She leaves to cherish her memory, two siblings, Roxanne LaMaina, Rosemarie Sheehan and a lifelong sister Ruth Bonano, six children: Judith Andruzzi-Brake (Dwayne), Margaret, Patricia, Franklin (Danielle), Joseph and Joshua Andruzzi, her children blessed in marriage: Lawrence Siler, Kenneth ( Teresa), Daniel, Michael, Marie and Beverly Laughlin.
