Owen E. Barnes, a.k.a. Michael Negron, was born on August 22, 1935 in Camden, New Jersey. He was the eldest son of Owen and Eileen Barnes (both deceased).
Michael went to Overbrook High School. At the age of 20 he entered into the U.S. Air Force and received an Honorable Discharge in 1956. He married Lois Litecky and to their union a daughter was born, Abigail Negron.
Michael worked at Bestworks Industries for the blind for over 20 years.
He loved serving the Lord! He was a faithful member of St. John's United Methodist Church for many years serving on the Men's Ministry until he was unable to attend due to his illness.
He departed this life on Saturday, August 24, 2013.
Leaving to celebrate his life, his daughter Abigail; seven sisters, Elva, Janice, Gladys, Anita, Lorraine, BettyJean and Roberta; two brothers, Eugene and Tommy and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
