Obituary of Elizabeth Barney

Elizabeth Barney, age 85 of Marlton, New Jersey, departed this life on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She was born on November 7, 1928 in Vincentown, New Jersey. She later met and united in matrimony tp Charles Barney, Sr. They later moved into the family home in Marlton to raise their seven children and a loving granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Sr.; daughters, Helen and Robin; sons, Charles Jr. and Robert. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Wallace of Willingboro, NJ (Harry) and Rose Parrish of Willingboro, NJ; son, Nile Barney of Mount Holly, NJ (Victoria); granddaughter, Crystal Barney-Harold pf Mitchellvile, MD (Robert Jr.) and her sister, Ella Mary Wilds of Camden, New Jersey and a brother-in-law, Robert Barney of Voorhees, New Jersey. Elizabeth is formally a retiree of Wiley Christian Nursing Home of Marlton, where she worked until the age of 76 as a Certified Nurses Aide. Elizabeth was a loving, caring and devoted mother with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time outdoors as well as bird watching. Anyone who met and knew her enjoyed her company. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
