Darlene A. Streater was born September 8, 1958 in Riverside, NJ to the late Bertha Mae and Richard King. She departed this life on October 14, 2014.
She was a graduate of Palmyra High School and then she attended Delaware State.
After attending Delaware State Darlene met her soul mate Kevin Streater. Through this union of thirty years two sons were born, Kevin Michael Streater and Rod William Streater.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Streater, two sons Kevin and Rod Streater, one brother Richard King, Jr. ( Sandra); two sisters Dawn King and Denise Thomas (John); her in-laws Paul and Sharon LeCompt; her God mother Barbara Towns; five aunts Harriet Nickens, Thelma Scott (Theodore), Annette Hyman, Leona Cooper, Jacqueline Dorsey and one uncle William King; 4 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law and 3 great aunts. A host of nephews, nieces and friends. To Janice Barclay her best friend, when we meet again we will laugh together in harmony and sound like one.
