Obituary of Ci'Anni Linai May Smith-King
Please share a memory of Ci'Anni to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ci'Anni Liane May Smith-King precious child of God was born on November 5, 2006 to father Julian-Brandon King and her mother Monique May Smith and was called home to the Lord and reunited with her Granny on August 7, 2015. Ci'Anni lived in Clayton NJ with her mother and grandparents. She attended elementary school in Clayton and Williamstown New Jersey.
Ci'Anni was the sweetest, most innocent, loving and beautiful girl this world has ever known. Her personality was bright, lighting up every room she entered; and that smile, it was magnetic, and her laughter infectious. When you heard her giggle- you most certainly had to join her.
Her compassion was admirable, a quality bestowed on her directly from the heart of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ci'Anni loved playing softball, cheerleading, going to school and reading. Oh how CiAnni loved to read. If given the opportunity, she would read anything that she could get her hands on and everyone in ear-shot would become the "listener". When she was not reading, she was belting out songs, like Taylor Swifts's "Shake if Off" or teaching everyone how to "whip" and "nae-nae". Ci'Anni, loved to dance and sing!
Ci'Anni loved to color, playing with her cooking toys and of course, who can forget how much she loved her iPad and phone.
One of the clear joys of her life was being with her daddy, she would light up every time she came to see him. Most of the time, you would find her sitting on his lap giving each other hugs and kisses. Ci'Anni and her father would spend time doing sing-along's to her favorite songs, watching movies and having her father carry her from room to room because she was his "princess".
You often would find Monique and Ci'Anni at Olive Garden or shopping; the "bestie" loved to lay on the beach, taking a trip to Virginia and spending time at Barnes & Noble. The "dynamic duo" shared hugs, kisses, love, laughter and picture-taking moments. You would always see them together. Ci'Anni would keep her mom up to date on the latest dances and laugh when she got it right. When they were not together, they would exchange text messages back and forth telling each other how much they love one another.
Ci'Anni will always live on in the hearts of her family and those she loved. Her Mother and best friend, Monique, her father Julian-Brandon, "Pop-Pop", "Mom-Mom", (Joan and John Smith);"Pop-Pop and "Me-Mom" (Julian King and Pastor Linda Bizelle-King)
her aunts, Sheronda, Christina and Nia-mah; Uncles John and Willie, countless cousins, Ci'Anni also leaves great grandma, Nan and great grand Pop. Great Uncles and Great Aunts including her "Uncle Derek", whom she absolutely loved and adored.
Heaven did not gain an angel, it only reclaimed a borrowed gift that accomplished what she was destined to do-change our lives for the better, forever.
Ci'Anni Linai May Smith-King,resting in complete peace in the arms of God, making cream cheese cakes with her beloved Granny.
Lord, we thank you for the love given, the laughter shared, the hearts touched, and the lives blessed by the gift provided.
