Delores Pratt Reed was born on August 31, 1960 in Camden NJ to the late Vivian and David Pratt. She received her wings on July 29, 2016
Delores was educated in the school district of Clayton NJ. She was very approachable and her electric personality made it almost impossible for people not to want to know her.
Early in life Delores sustained an injury that began her life of triumph. She embarked on a life which included marriage and giving birth to three sons in which she raised to be strong men. They were her best friends. She remained friend with her husband Jerome K Reed Sr. (who preceded her in death) even after they were no longer married. Delores share 27 years of her life with her love Edward Garrison. She loved her entire family.
Delores strong faith in the Lord was demonstrated throughout her life. Most people would have given up but she prayed forward and lived the best life she could. She was full of excitement and loved to make people comfortable and let them know it was good to laugh. There’s no secret that Delores was loved by her family and friends. She was affectionately known by some as “Lil Momma” and others “Aunt Deedee”
Delores was a member of the Abundant Life United Church in Mantua NJ, her favorite song which exemplified her life was, “Praise is what I do” by Shekinah
She leaves to cherish her life, Fiancée Edward Garrison, three sons, Jermaine Pratt, Blackwood NJ, Jerome K. Reed Jr., Charlotte, NC, and Isaiah Reed, Glassboro, NJ. Five grandsons, Jermaine, Javis, Elijah, Jeremiah and Neikko, two granddaughters, Auryana and Lei-lah, one great grandson, Jayden and one great granddaughter, Marlie, Four sisters, Rose Mills, Glassboro NJ, Linda Pratt, Voorhees, NJ, Eileen Hargrove (Theodore) Mansfield Texas, and Ruthann Pratt, Glassboro NJ, two brothers, David Pratt, Sicklerville NJ, and Howard Pratt, Glassboro NJ. Honorary daughters, Lakeeyna Cooper and Saronda Coley, one Goddaughter, Rosa Mills A best friend Mattie Brookins. Five Aunts, two Uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
