Obituary of Edna Louise Griffin

Edna L. Griffin, daughter of the late Reverend Henry Dotson and Mattie Dotson, was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 2, 1935 and departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2016 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, NJ. Edna attended the Lower Camden County Regional High School in Lindenwold, NJ. She had worked for the State of New Jersey Vineland Developmental Center for 31 years and 3 months. She was married to the late Earnest Griffin and they resided in Newtonville, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debbie Watson; two sons, Kevin and Russell Watson; her sister, Madeline Graver; her brother, Henry Dotson, Jr; and brother-in-law, Richard Saulsbury. Edna leaves to cherish her memories: her sister, Rose Saulsbury; her sons, Earnest Griffin, Jr. and Jerry Griffin; her daughters, Karen Griffin Mickel and Tracy Gribatsch; son-in-law, Alex Gribatsch; four grandsons, Darrell Griffin, Rashwan Griffin, Shareef Griffin and Timmons Sneed; two granddaughters, Tyra Griffin Mickel and Alexis Gribatsch; seven great grandchildren; one nephew, Malcolm Jones; one niece, Jocelyn Beverly; three great nieces, Madeline Lasell, Tamika Beverly and Illyana Jones; two great nephews, Matthew Beverly and Malcolm Jones II; other family members, Maria Jones and Gwen Talib. She also leaves to cherish her memories, two great great nephews; two great great nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
