Linda Herring (Chaney) was born November 12, 1947 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was raised by various foster parents in South Jersey. She graduated from Williamstown High School in 1965. Later in life she resided in Leisure Chateau Rehabilitation Center for many years until her passing.
In the 1960’s, she married Raymond L. Herring, Jr. (deceased). From this union came two sons, Raymond L. Herring III and Eugene A. Herring (deceased) and one daughter, Betty C. Herring-Medley.
Linda was saved and baptized at an early age. She often attended spiritual services where she resided. She truly loved the Lord with all her heart. Linda was known for her singing and dancing. She also loved to make people laugh. Everybody loved her and she loved everybody.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Raymond L. Herring III (Rasheeda) and one daughter, Betty C. Medley; eight grandchildren, Charnae, Christopher, Reihannah, Gary, Alexis, Arriyannah, Ivan and Nairaya; three great-grandchildren, Antonio, As’Ronae and Amor and a host of relatives and friends.
