I was blessed to work as a NJEA Summer Fellow with Watina, it was an awesome experience with amazing people and Watina had a smile that always lit up the room. She also made us some wonderful desserts. I am sorry for your loss, but I know Heaven is blessed with her beautiful soul and vibrant energy! She touched so many and left a lasting impression, what a wonderful legacy.

Watina will be truly missed by so many in Camden City. Many students have reached out to express their sorrow on her passing. She touched the lives of so many; staff and students, in a positive way. My condolences to the Family. I know she will be missed.
Watina was my Dean of Pledges at Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Zeta Chapter.
DP Darby as I called her helped to shape me into a woman of strength and resilience. She was firm, fair and full of love. I remember that smile (kinda of a smirk) when she caught me doing wrong.
A couple of years ago at a Wilberforce Conference I had the opportunity to say Thank You to Watina.
To her family may God give peace that surpasses all understanding.
